I spent a couple weeks in Senegal for work, but managed to get out on the weekends and explore this country a bit. Despite the fact that Air Senegal was not operating while I was there, I managed to get around the country in "sept place" taxis. It is not a big place, but it can be pricey to arrange a car to get into some of the national parks and other less-traveled places. Good fun overall, though.
