Cuckoo's Crew Rides Again
A bicycle tour through the small towns and back roads of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Mom and I have done a number of previous trips and this was the second major trip in the U.S. In 2011 we rode from Buffalo to Bar Harbor and this time we went back and did the part from Chicago to Buffalo! My cousin, Jason, joined again and my niece, Ana, made her debut. We rode the first few days with my aunt Joanie and friend Gene, as well. We had twelve days with perfect weather and thoroughly enjoyed our rest days in Toledo, OH and Buffalo, NY. Finally, we went a few more miles up the road to see Niagara Falls. That's over 700 miles of riding in August 2020... in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic! |
