About the Author:

Eugene Shindo spent most of his life growing up in the United States. His parents are both Japanese immigrants who spoke Japanese around the home and so it was natural that Eugene would become not only bilingual, but bicultural. He spent his senior year of college studying abroad in Tokyo. He took a liking to the Japan that he was only able to visit before. Upon graduation from Berkeley, he took a position at Goldman Sachs in Tokyo.
