I am happy to say that I had the pleasurable honor of hosting such great company. The experience of going laundry machine shopping and more is really something I really can not forget. I nearly lost my American passport over a 3000 yen consumption tax saving... but hey... these things are definitely an adventure you got to try once. Nonetheless, from the walk around Yoyogi Ko-en to Park Hyatt to meeting your Rugby team pallies, it was definitely something... especially meeting as a trio for the first time since our European expedition with Yoko. Afterall, how can you account Yoko and her hyperventilating moments? :) As a tangent thought... I just finished reading "The Tao of Pooh." It's Taoism through the eyes of Winnie the Pooh. I recall you all liked Pooh. I personally never read or know any of the characters within the story other than the bear himself... but I must say... the book was very grand. It really makes ou re-evaluate what is essential and fundamental to the "being" in you lives. It's very Heidegger for what it's worth... but you know.. it's an each book with lots of pictures and only a little more than a hundred pages. I suggest you try and dig it out. IT's by Benjamin Hoff. You really need more books like this. I wish I could have written it myself... but you know how the story goes... And yet... Tokyo is still Tokyo... and Tokyo without the gang is still Tokyo without the gang. I suspect it's going to be a while until we all get together... but we'll still manage until we all have our great homecoming. Hopefully, I'll have stepped up for reals in my stage... so that I'll be able to accomodate many... but until then... Casa La Shindo is still open to many... as is Bagdhad Cafe... and every dirfting waseda soul is still welcome at any day at time of day. you just got to knock on the door. but until we meet again... there's always a new chapter... as this book has no end... i wish you good fortune... as i look forward to seeing you in chapters ahead...
