May 2: Golden Week in Korea

Good to know that you're all alive and kicking. I'm currently in Seoul -- doing my rounds through Korea. I'm halfway through on my travels, as I've done the southern regions including Pusan, Kyongju, and whatnot. I will be here through Friday, and be recovering from my drinking at the shorelines of Southern Chiba upon my return. Doing pretty good here. :)

anyhow, I'm amazed with Goldman Sachs. I could check my voicemail for free from anywhere in the world, and I can dial in to my office -- or any GS office -- from anywhere as well. My office -- for both good and obviously bad reasons -- is only a phone call away toll free.

Wells, this travel is very different from my past travels. It's been more a homestay trip with various members of my friend's relatives... and direct encounters with natives without the annoyance from fellow travelers. It's wacky... as I'm sweeping through newspapers and articles...I come across the travel section, and there's coverage of LA and some other familiar spots. I explored LA -- my supposed hometown -- the least, and I hardly recognize much of the attractions nor of the sights where I've been cradled to riddance. Yet, my constant cravings for a bag of french fries and pizza is mounting... as my large dabs of rice and kimchi three times a day is becoming something. (yet, korean food has been definitely tasty and fulfilling for the duration and intensity to which I have been exposed -- 7 consecutive days).

Well, that's all for now folks, and I'll catch you guys soon.

regards,
Euge
