Good morning! It's TGIF! The talks seemed to have dwindled a bit... and I've been absolutely overwhelmed with the madness here... it's been just -- in the most genuine manner -- wacky to the extremes. More projects and crap that's been pushed to me as our third recruiting member resigned (actually old news... as this happened before Golden Week), and two records people are moving on to pursue their own interests (these latter two had planned this way at the point of joining). No immediate affect yet, but wh knows....

As for me, I'm moving functions with HR... I'm going to move away from full-time recruiting, and I'll be sole member (and the captain of my own ship I suppose...) of the compensation, information management, systems, and SPECIAL PROJECTS group. There's going to be some overlap here and there... but I'm heading up SPECIAL PROJECTS... and my ego inflates... as ponder the great Dilbert factor of "empowerment." I AM EMPOWERED!!!!! It's folly to believe in these wacky titles... because you start hearing voices in your head. anyhow... it's all humor....

our new hr director is now known as the "ano obaka-san,"and the other manager is becoming notorious as the "running earthquake."

Anyhow, Kory came into town last weekend, and all was well. Another short meet, but we hit the streets once again to check out 328 -- a Japanese clube across the street from the Azabu crossing. I'm eye-ing some new spots to hit -- Ring, Yellow, are among the few... Pylon -- fyi -- is gone.... you gotta come back soon Kory!
