It's a Saturday night, and I'm back at Waseda... typing away. It's great to be back again to witness all of the monuments which relish our collective history. Time seems to stand still here... as I could almost hear a lot of your voices down the corridor. Anyhow, working life is really becoming working life. My boss and colleagues are mostly back, but some are still ill, and some are still scurrying around in the hospital. It's very wacky. We're losing a lot of people due to poor health and what not. It's just an all together wacky season. But on the personal life end, my pal from Berkeley showed up yesterday at my doorstep. We've come around to Waseda to visit and email... while visiting a friend at a hospital. (this is separate from work) It's just all together wacky. He brought with him a dozen bottles of California Wine... so we're looking really good in terms of background entertainment. Happy times. My mom is on her way this week as well... so this month's a busy month. Don't know how we're all going to sleep, but with Azabu, Aoyama, and Hiroo so close, I'm thinking to make that our overall hangout for the next two weeks. Pretty wacky eh? In many ways, it's really family time as relatives converge into my grandfather's memorial stuff. (my friend BTW, will go on to attend his start-up company issues... so he's doing his own thang.) As for Masa and I... we had a great time recollecting. It seems to have been forever since we last met... but when we did... it was good ol' Masa... my big bro. Good to see you again. We ought to do that again. You free sometime? I'm sure I can only take so much of my own mum. Kory, Aaron... I guess we're all in this working world bit... Don't know what exactly to say... but my NEXT job is going to be a place where I go 9-5. Period. |
