July 13: Dreams

After a wild road trip off in the Sumatran jungle, I'm receiving quite a welcome back in the office. Not too many people travel to the exotic isle of Sumatra, and it's funny to think that they imagine Orangutans and Giant Lizards roaming the city streets everywhere.

I've instantly become tarzan, and I've since tamed the wild beasts of forests under my godly command.... not! Nonetheless, office life has returned to become my ever-loving haunt to reminisce the forbidden glory of the wild west. I brought back postcards... you know? The lovely lake to which we spoke... and the stupendous exotic flora... which cradled us in its hills. My dear brother -- the orangutan -- hangs lazily by my side... and to wish another moment amongst such earthly creatures... may be yet another dream to pursue.

Every trek is a journey with bounds to return... If you recall that film, "Gran Bleu," he forever fought to flirt with the depths and never to return to the surface. Many friends agree that he chose brave and wise... some argue not. Regardless, another journey to dream... and to dream I shall... perhaps until I find the promised land.... or until I can rest to my unquiet slumbers.... in that quiet earth... That'll be the day.

Cheers,
Euge
