July 4: Indonesia Update

It's been qutie some time since I spoke to you all last, but I hope that all of you are faring well. I've -- with the partnership of Aaron -- made my safe entry into Sumatra despite the rough ride here. Transportation has taken double digit hours and great discomfort, but I guess that's part of the great adventure in making these routes.

Nonethelss, the spectacle is majestic here, and I'm currently taking refuge alongside a lakeside... and the people and scenery is serene. There is no better way to describe it. Unfortunately, disposable cameras were not ready at hand this time, so it's going to take some time to get photos back from Aaron. In either case... the place is uniquely relaxed, and there's not a better way to take the great escape -- and adventure -- in the mountain range. It's very floral, mountainous and what not... but extremely cool in temperature. Right on top of the equator, but I guess I can't work on my tan this time...

anyhow, only a few more days before I get back to Tokyo... where I will contact you in some way or form. Have a goon one y'all, and sorry for this email postcard....

best,
Euge
