It's been an awfully long time since we last spoke. Sorry I checked out to la-la land for a while, but it's really been quite a trip. I don't whether I'm fully back home here, but nonetheless, it's quite something I'm back here talking to all of you. Genki datta kai????

This traveling bit just never ends. Well, metaphorically... that is. Every step is a journey of some sorts... and whether I actually reach(ed) that final step is rather dubious... but work is rigorous. I am -- again -- here at work past 11pm, and we were kidding each other -- me boss and colleagues -- when we were trying to decide a tokyo recuruiting email address.... how about no.life@gs.com or trapped@gs.com.

Pretty wacky that we kid about this way... but sad thing is... is that a lot of this joke is really well reflected in real life. I suppose... welcome to the world of investment banking... or should I say, goldman sachs?

All that interlude of whatever aside, Tokyo is getting cold. The autumn season is slowly nestling is home amongst us, and the reddening leaves -- mindful of Karuizawa -- is quickly encroaching the distant trees beyond my 6th floor cubicle. I -- on the otherhand -- enjoy the cushy comforts of an air-conned room... overlooking the roppongi dori overpath. Yes... in moments, I'm going to take the lovely taxi home door to door. Thus is corporate life...
