October 26: Hiya

Hey. It's been a while everyone. I hope that everyone is alive and kicking these days. Hearing less and less from you guys (including myself), I felt like I was crawling about on a different planet... well, that's one way of describing my current work life, but responsibilities galore... and well, lots of work and work and work.

It's as though I switch off to work everyday as soon as the clock strikes 9, and as I look up to the clock... it's lunch, and in the next momemnt, it's dark outside... and it's past 10... so time to call a cab home. Wacky eh?

Anyhow, the work is HR is boring for one thing... but interesting in terms of learning personal finance... and what not. Well, whatever the case, I'm calling vendor meetings alone and I'm more or less trying to vie for aceptance from my non-Japanese speaking boss.

I have good support from colleagues, but in many ways by being understaffed, I'm surely alone in A LOT of things I do... pretty wacky.

--------

work is work. This is somehow becoming a book report of sorts, but this just might be my great effort for self-documentation. History... so to speak... minus the Michael Jackson glamour factor. No no no. I'm surely not trying to objectify my being by calling it HIStory, but time does fly here... and it's scary to see how dusk turns to dawn and vice versa. Wacky.

---------

Weekends are reserved for lots of cooking. Being so close to Meidi-ya, I make my occasional strolls to make pasta and salad and what not. It's a pretty grand galore of a meal. Artichoke sald with balsamic vinegear and olive oil. Not forgetting croutons and parmesean cheese... my favorite staple.
