February 11: Midori: "Ski"

Hey! Finally, Japan is getting world attention?!

Well, I'm trapped again up here in Ithaca after "exciting" vacation. I'm trying to find some fun stuff to get up my lazy butt, though. I'm doing ski course this semester. Since I'm in Ithaca, I thought it would be so bad to go back Japan without skiing. Last Saturday was my first time to go to ski. We drive to a state forest or somewhere different places every week, (Yes, it's cross country) and there is nobody watching us (Isn't it nice?). It is lots of fun. I'll have another PE class tomorrow, guess what, belly dance! (I can imagineyou laughing there...) My stomach get sore, but it's a lot of fun, too. :)

I was feeling I totally missed o sho-gatsu, now, I'm missing the Olympics!! Apparently they changed their postal codes, btw. No actual feeling... Speaking to postal codes, I didn't write any post codes on the half of my new year's cards for Japan, and dared to post those. All were delivered. That's why I love the country.

I guess our spring is just around the corner, we are having the sun, sun, sun...which I hadn't seen for a long long time... I expected more horrible winter, though. (I don't know what is cold and what is warm anymore. My body is confused...)
