Valerie's Japan
Valerie Straayer, from Midwestern USA, lived in Ota City(Japanese web page) of Gunma Prefecture(map). She taught English to junior high school students through the JET Program. Although she had been to Japan before and studied about the country's language and culture for years, she was often surprised by what she saw on the streets. Here are some of her thoughts.
