A Page in the Life of a Super Senior

Due to the fact that I spent 1996-97 studying abroad in Japan, I am now a year behind in my studies at the University of Illinois. In Japanese, the term "5th year student" gives one the impression that a student is either slow or just lazy. Therefore I had to teach my friends the English term " super senior" which makes us long-termers sound kind of cool. Whether or not my experience in Japan and this last year in Illinois will prove fruitful for me I do not know. I shall read each journal entry with anxiety and anticipation.
